The East Battle Lake Annual Watershed Meeting is just around the corner! Join your neighbors to learn how we can help to preserve the quality of East Battle Lake for today and for future generations to come.
DATE: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025
TIME: 9:30am
WHERE: Henning Community Center

Registration begins at 9:00am with our meeting starting promptly at 9:30. Upon arrival, you will be given a registration envelope where you will update your contact information and place the envelope in the designated bin. This will also allow you to conveniently contribute your 2025 dues at the meeting with no need to mail. Just insert your dues in the provided envelope, seal and toss in the bin. The registration envelope will double as your ticket to win door prizes. Please arrive a few minutes early for registration. The Henning Community Center is located at 607 2nd Street in Henning. (By the fire/police dept.)
Why should you attend?
EBL is a precious resource and we share stewardship for the water and the wildlife of the area. Come to the meeting to show your support for the efforts to protect the water, the fish and fowl and to build a stronger sense of community. We'll talk about lake clarity, weeds and lake levels.
Another reason to attend the meeting is for education. Come to learn from our special presenter, Amy Westmark, MN DNR Non Game Wildlife Specialist.
And one more reason to attend is for the local food shelf. We are trying something new. As a good neighbor, we'll be collecting voluntary food donations to share with the food shelf. Let's try this and see how it works for us.
Volunteering: Our watershed association is all about volunteering and we are always in need of additional help. Please consider giving your time and talents to further our mission of lake preservation! Call Steve McClintick at 612-310-4752 for more details.
